Tasting the Tropics Brings Fruit-Filled Fun to Naples Botanical Garden

Naples Botanical Garden is celebrating the flavors of the season with Tasting the Tropics, a two-day festival spotlighting tropical and subtropical fruits from around the world.

Taking place June 27 and 28, the event invites visitors to explore the Garden’s fruiting collections, sample tropical fruits, enjoy live demonstrations and take part in fruit-focused tours. Guests can learn about everything from mangoes and vanilla to coconut processing while discovering how Southwest Florida’s climate helps these plants thrive.

The festival also includes live music, family-friendly activities and a Garden-grown plant sale featuring favorites such as papaya, banana, tamarind, passion fruit, vanilla, butterfly pea, coconut palm and more. Fogg Café will offer a special mango habanero chicken wing dish while supplies last.

Tasting the Tropics runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days at Naples Botanical Garden. The event is included with regular Garden admission and is free for members. Specialty tours are available for an additional fee, with advance registration encouraged.
