A Festive Night on the Water: Christmas Boat Parade on Naples Bay

Every December, as the sun sets over the Gulf Coast, the quiet waters of Naples Bay transform into a shimmering display of holiday cheer. The annual Christmas Boat Parade — a beloved tradition in Southwest Florida — returns this year, offering residents and visitors alike a magical evening of lights, community spirit, and coastal charm.

🎄 What & When

The Christmas Boat Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 6:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Organized by the Marine Industries Association of Collier County (MIACC), the event brings together a festive flotilla — from luxury yachts to family pontoons — all decked out in twinkling lights, holiday décor, and joyful creativity.

Where to Watch

For the ultimate experience, Naples City Dock is the central viewing point, hosting the judges and VIP guests. Reserved seating offers front-row views of the illuminated parade.

There are also several accessible public waterfront spots with excellent views of the parade route, including:

  • Tin City

  • Riverwalk Restaurant

  • Naples Landing

  • Kelly’s Fish House

  • The Boathouse on Naples Bay

  • Bayview Park

The Experience: Lights, Water & Holiday Magic

As twilight shifts into night, the parade begins with boats gliding along the bay, each transformed into a floating holiday display. Sparkling lights, glowing inflatables, lively music, and festive themes turn the waterway into a moving celebration.

For many, this parade marks the true beginning of the holiday season in Naples. The warm Gulf breeze, the shimmering reflections on the water, and the joyful atmosphere create a tropical-Christmas moment found nowhere else. Visitors and locals gather along the shoreline, enjoy waterfront dining, or even charter a boat for a front-row seat right on the water.

Community, Charity & Tradition

Beyond the dazzle of lights, the parade carries a spirit of giving. The event supports both the Ricky King Foundation and the MIACC Foundation, ensuring that the holiday celebration also benefits the local community.

Boat owners of all sizes are encouraged to participate. Rather than a standard entry fee, donations are accepted, making the event welcoming and inclusive for everyone who wants to join the festivities.
