Once the holidays are behind us, you’ll still have something to look forward to – The Annual Naples Winter Wine Festival! This festival is ranked among the top 10 arts and entertainment events for Americans. Since 2004, the festival has earned the distinction of being the most successful charity wine auction in the nation according to Wine Spectator magazine, and quite possibly the most successful charity weekend in the nation of any kind. The event brings many of the world’s finest vintners and chefs together with wine collectors and philanthropists for a three-day gala in Naples, Florida.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the Naples Children & Education Foundation, whose vision is to make a profound and sustaining difference in the quality of children’s lives. The vision was based on creating an exquisite event, with proceeds benefiting local charities that assist underprivileged and at-risk children. Since its inception in 2001, the Naples Winter Wine Festival has raised more than $107 million for children in need.
The 3-day affair takes place January 25-27th, 2013 at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, located at 2600 Tiburon Drive, and at various private homes. It includes tours, luncheons, auction lots and 13 celebrity chefs from all over the country. For event and ticket information, please visit www.NaplesWineFestival.com.
