Pelican Marsh Golf Course Renovation Completed

Summer Renovation 2012

Pelican Marsh, a beautiful 1,100 acre golf community in North Naples, has some new and exciting surprises for Golf Club members this upcoming season. Just re-opened in early November, the Pelican Marsh Golf Club’s von Hagge-designed, championship course was completely re-built over the summer by Ryangolf. The course now encompasses over three acres of deep-green Tifeagle Bermuda putting surface, almost double the playing surface of last spring. A completely electronic, pin-point irrigation system was also built around the newly updated greenside bunkers, allowing for optimal turf-growing conditions during the dry and busy winter season.

If those improvements aren’t enough, the original tees and a couple new tees are now completely re-built, laser-leveled and enlarged. Golfers will enjoy more variety is distances and shots with larger teeing grounds as well as softened moguls for better accessibility from cart paths to playing areas. With all these incredible improvements, the new Pelican Marsh Golf Course renovation is sure to not disappoint.
