The Philharmonic
Started in November of 1989, The Philharmonic featuring both performing and visual arts in a single complex, is host to a resident orchestra, and four quality art galleries. Conveniently located on Pelican Bay Boulevard, The Philharmonic offers ample parking and a convenient circular, covered entrance to assure everyone in your party arrives safely before show time. The Naples Philharmonic is a non-profit organization with the vision to offer Southwest Florida the best in art and music. Beginning with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, plans were soon drawn up to give them a permanent home. With a grand mission to enlighten, educate, and entertain people of all ages and backgrounds, The Naples Philharmonic has something for everyone. Offering more than 400 events per season, there is always something happening at The Phil, with the heaviest season being October through April. The Philharmonic is host to some of the most exclusive art collections and unique musical guests year round including summer children’s presentations. The Naples Philharmonic also offers programs for groups and schools and readily works with the local students in performing Broadway style plays.
The Phil
Built in 2000, The Naples Museum of Art is the regions first full scale visual art center. Offering the experience and wonder of the visual arts and showcasing a cultural adventure. The Visual Arts Center is a 3-story, 30,000 square foot museum with 15 galleries, a glass dome conservatory, and boasts the most exclusive permanent art fixtures by world renowned artists like metal artist, Albert Paley and glass artist, Dale Chihuy. This exquisite museum is considered a reflection of the unique spirit and generosity of Southwest Florida.
The Naples Philharmonic has grown every season since opening their doors in 1989. People have come from all over the world to witness the wonders that are hidden behind the beautifully adorned doors of the Art Complex. The Phil also offers membership packages to help provide funding for exhibitions, education programs, publications and more. Members enjoy unlimited free admission to the Museum and numerous privileges throughout the season. Every member can boast they have helped to build and grow with one of Southwest Florida’s most prized possessions, The Naples Philharmonic.
